Panther Nation You are on the Clock. Part 2 Defense

Panther Nation You are on the Clock. Part 2 Defense

The NFL draft is around a week away and it is time for us Panther fans to speak out. In this article I will list 2-5 available players per defensive position grouping at pick #25 based on Drafttek’s latest mock draft, plus a few that could be at the backend of round one come draft day. In case you didn’t know, C3’s very own “Mel Mayock” (@PantherDrafter) does the picks and write-ups for the Panthers on Drafttek; it is definitely worth a look if you haven't already done so. After viewing the players listed, you may vote on the poll. Part 1 offense's poll, is still up and active, so vote if you haven't already done so. The offensive and defensive poll winners will be featured in Part 3 with a more in depth evaluation and a final poll on April 28th, on day 1 of the draft (April 30th) the winner will be revealed. So let’s see who Panther Nation wants as our future star!

Panthers Have Inside Tip on ECU's Justin Hardy

Coming off a record setting college career in a small North Carolina football program, he “upped his stock with a good postseason but isn’t a real speedster, either.” The “5’11 wide receiver who plays taller,” “turned out to be faster than anyone thought.” “Not a burner,” but he did run a “4.56 at the combine.” He’s a “good possession catcher” and a “steady player.”

With the release of longtime Panther DeAngelo Williams, it is certain we will need another back to help share the load.

Why The RB Position Is Higher On Carolina’s Draft Board Than We May Think

With free agency in the full swing, Panthers fans are scouring over the likes of Twitter, Facebook, Websites, and now Snapchat looking for who the team has met with or interested in signing. While my eyes relentlessly gazed down through Tweet after Tweet trying to pick up on those nuggets, a certain Tweet stopped my insanity in it’s tracks for it was something I had waited to catch to help justify a suspicion of mine.
