Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis was named "2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year" at NFL Honors Saturday night. Davis has been an award nominee four times before and a finalist for this award just last season, but this is his first win. C3 would like to congratulate TD on this award. This award is given to the player who excels on the field and makes just as big of an impact off the field. Thomas Davis and his wife do this in a myriad of ways: Thomas Davis Defending Dreams Foundation, and he annually awards two college scholarships to high school seniors the have completed a Youth Leadership Program, just to name a few. A well deserved award for sure.
