Cam Newton is in Australia for a player exchange program where he is training with the Richmond Tigers of the Australian football league.  From all reports, he has been impressed with their toughness even though they don't wear the pads.  It turns out them boys are tough down under, and Cam felt like a fish out of water.   Cam candidly remarked, "I can honestly say I don't know what I'm doing."  Well buddy, you aren't the only one.  I know absolutely nothing about Aussie football or "footy," but I can tell you that mess looks crazy.  It's like a combination of soccer, rugby, football, and field-goal kicking all in one.

They told us Carolina was going to regress, and while this is a little bigger step back than even they expected, this is just the way it had to be. Clearly, they were right. Carolina has taken a step back, and it just so happened to be off a cliff. I’m still not convinced it had to be this bad, but I’ve been told over and over it had to be this way. It is what it is, I guess. The Panthers can’t win. Today’s punch to the gut only makes that reality that much harder to swallow.
