It was not all that long ago the Panthers were in the midst of a six game losing streak. It was at that time people/fans (some who write for this site included) began calling for head coach Ron Rivera to be replaced. The team was in shambles, injuries and bad play calling/execution were factors in the team's poor play. Fast forward to the wild card round of the playoffs and now the Panthers are in the midst of a four game win streak, with momentum building. So the question has arisen:

Should Ron Rivera be considered for Coach of the Year honors?

The win yesterday was big.  Aside from making Carolina the first team in NFC South history to repeat as division champion, the Carolina Panthers will host the Arizona Cardinals Saturday in the Wild Card game.

Will Norman get out of his own way and become elite?

Another strong performance by the talented and athletic corner, and another series of bonehead decisions that nearly negated his performance.  Will Josh Norman become elite, or will he always get in his own way?

This season has been an up and down one. Seems like more downs than up but we are playing better right now. The play calling has been suspect at various points during the year, but can that be attributed to poor line play? The last 2 weeks have seen better offensive line play and in turn better execution of the called plays. Does this improved execution by the offense buy OC Mike Shula another season or have you seen enough to know Cam and company need a more innovative mind calling plays?
