Who Would You Start vs. Browns: Cam or DA?

The Playoffs are on the line this Sunday vs. the Browns.  This is a must win, people!  With it all on the line, who are you rolling with and why?  Here's a case for each:

  • DA threw for 277 yards last week and is 2-0.  He had great chemistry with Olson and Benjamin.  And don't forget his extra motivation for playing the Browns.
  • Now for Cam:  If he plays like he did two weeks ago vs the Aint's, he gives us the best chance to win.  His mobility and the simple threat of him running diversifies our Offense so much more that having DA back there.  But if he takes a shot to that back, could there be long term implications??

It was clear Carolina was weak up the middle defensively prior to the arrival of Star Lotulelei and Kawaan Short.  Picking defensive tackles isn't really ever sexy, but the need for the big bodies showed as Carolina's defense stifled the run and frustrated quarterbacks all season.  Neither has had the success they enjoyed in their rookie years because of Carolina's overall defensive decline. We have seen a 14 more games out of these guys, however.  

So which defensive end will be finer in Carolina, Star or Short? Vote in our poll and leave a comment below.

With Atlanta's loss to Green Bay and the Panthers win over the Saints, Carolina is a half game back from the division lead.  Here again.  Can the Panthers pull it off?  Will they?

This Panthers team needed today's win. In dominating fashion, Carolina marched into New Orleans and put the smack down on the Saints.  It was needed and uplifting, but what will become of the win?

Our biggest rivals are 5-7 and we are 3-8-1.  Should we get our act together and win in New Orleans and Atlanta loses in Green Bay, we would be 4-8-1 to their 5-8.  Just a half game back with three to go.  Who's with me in pulling for the Panthers, or are you wanting us to go Pewie for Ogbuehi?
