Read MoreIn 2014, Kelvin Benjamin had 73 receptions for 1,008 yards and 9 TDs. Unfortunately for him (and for us) he missed all of 2015 with a torn ACL. And like KK Short, he will be scheduled to make “just” $1M in the final year of his contract (2017). So this goes to show that roughly, should Benjamin stay healthy and...
Read MoreEvery Panthers fan remembers the sorrow in the air when Kelvin Benjamin went down last August. The dead hopes and dreams of a third consecutive NFC South title and any hope for a great season. As we know, the Panthers and Cam Newton overcame his absence to achieve a league-best 15-1 record, a third NFC South title, and an 18-game win streak making them NFC Champions with a chance to win the Super Bowl. But what if I told you that Kelvin Benjamin's injury played a huge part in Carolina’s 2015 success?
Read MoreSummer is heating up and so are the looming Camp Battles. The road to Super Bowl 51 starts here. There are a lot of them for the Panthers this year, which is a great thing. Below are a few of them as I focus on the offense. Who is in? Who is out? Here are some of my early takes.
Read MoreWell this is a sad time for a lot of you, and a happy time for some of you. You might be sad because fantasy football is coming to an end, and that means that you will have to actually work at work. You might also be sad because your team did horrible this season. You might be happy because you are either playing in your league's championship game, or you already won. Congratulations if you made it this far! Getting to the championship and winning is a great accomplishment. Repeating next season, is even tougher.
The Carolina Panthers are currently on a two game winning streak, and they still have a chance to win the NFC South. This is crazy, because two weeks ago they were getting a top five draft pick. Before the Panthers winning streak, their two main weaknesses were the defense, and the offensive line. But this has changed over the past two games. Which Panthers team will show up this week..... Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde?
My Week 16 Projections:
*Cam Newton: 21 pts (225 passing yards 2 touchdowns, 40 rushing yards)
Derek Anderson: 17 pts (240 passing Yards 2 touchdowns)
Greg Olsen: 14 pts (80 receiving yards, 1 touchdown)
Kelvin Benjamin: 13 pts (75 receiving yards, 1 touchdown)
Jonathan Stewart: 13 pts (75 rushing yards, 1 touchdown)
Philly Brown: 9 pts (35 receiving yards, 1 touchdown)
Panthers Defense: 8 pts
Jerricho Cotchery: 4 pts (45 receiving yards)
Must Starts: Kelvin Benjamin, Jonathan Stewart, and Greg Olsen
50/50 Start: Panthers Defense, Derek Anderson or Cam Newton
Sit: Philly Brown, and Jerricho Cotchery
The Cleveland Browns are trending downwards, and are now relying on “Johnny Football” to save their season. The Browns are currently on a three game losing streak, and are 7-7. Johnny Football made his first start, and had the worst game of his career. Who is going to show up against the Carolina Panthers?
The Carolina Panthers are going to have their hands full this week with “Johnny Football,” Josh Gordon, and the Browns defense. Both teams are hungry, but I think the Panthers are hungrier. Manziel needs to be worried, because “it's feedin time!” I would not play either quarterback this week. Cam is not 100% and you don't know what to expect from DA every week. Greg Olsen is a top five fantasy tight end, and Kelvin Benjamin is always a must start. Jonathan Stewart has turned into a decent flex play option, and a possible RB2. He is the number one running back for the Panthers, and the Browns have one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL. Brown and Cotchery should remain on your bench. Panthers defense could be a good play if Manziel continues to struggle.
Will “Johnny Football” be in the end zone or on the ground more this week?

Another week of fantasy football playoffs down the drain, and I finally lost. No thanks to Peyton Manning and his 2 fantasy points. Both of my running backs were injured this past week, so I had to start Doug "Waste of a Pick" Martin, and Chris "Disappearing Act" Johnson. They got me a combined total of 8 fantasy points. As the fantasy season continues it is harder to win games, because of all the injuries. Could you imagine if the league increased the length of the season? If you are dealing with injuries you need to pay attention to who is going to be the new starter, and cross your fingers that someone else wont pick them up on the waiver wire.

Read MoreI hope that you made it past the first round of your fantasy football playoffs. I squeaked by with a two point victory! My team struggled because Peyton Manning decided to take the week off, and Andre Ellington got hurt again. This is what happens when the season is almost over and the playoffs are on the way. This is a big problem with fantasy football. If you are the commissioner you need to start the playoffs earlier to make sure that your team is healthier, and giving 100% effort.
Read MoreThe Saints beat the Panthers in Carolina on Oct. 30th by a score of 28-10. The key to game really was Keenan Lewis showing the rest of the League that to beat the Panthers, you take Kelvin Benjamin out of the game.
Read MoreWho is ready for Thanksgiving? You get to eat some turkey and watch some football! But before you can do that, you have to go around the table and say what you are thankful for. You might be thankful for a lot of things, but you might forget to mention your favorite team. Carolina Panther fans might not even mention the Panthers at the dinner table. But, I am here to tell you that you should be thankful for the Panthers. This year has been tough, but there are still some positives to be thankful about. So, what should Panther fans be thankful for this season?
