Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign Carolina killer, Julio Jones!

It shouldn't be surprising; the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all in! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Julio Jones today as they attempt to get another ring for those blinged-out Tom Brady fingers. Missing out on another Super Bowl made Brady flirt with retirement for enough time to shoot a series of Hertz Rental Car commercials, but he’s back, and the Buccaneers are chasing the Lombardi once again. If it wasn’t enough to have Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, adding Julio Jones makes for a very talented receiving group. Jones isn’t the player he once was, or at least he wasn’t in Tennessee. Brady has a knack for getting the most out of his receivers, so don’t be surprised if Jones has a renaissance.

I’m sure Bucs fans are jumping for joy, Falcons fans are fighting back the tears, and Panthers fans are, well, facing the Carolina killer, Julio Jones, once again. Just as the Panthers were getting a little momentum behind the thought of a Baker Mayfield under center with a healthy Christian McCaffrey, the Buccaneers pulled ahead by adding another thoroughbred.

I’m sure many fans will point to Carolina’s secondary as a strength, but that’s a tough group of receivers to defend when the GOAT is running the show!
