Day 2: 5 Names To Watch For The Panthers
/Not everyone is, but I’m super pumped to have McCaffrey in Charlotte. He is who I had us taking and I’m buying his jersey ASAP. He adds excitement and impacts the game in multiple ways. The Panthers need a play maker not named Cam Newton on offense and now they have one. Here are a few names to watch for tonight as the Panthers pick 40th and 64th:
• Zay Jones- The Panthers could really use another dynamic playmaker to continue the offensive evolution. This ECU standout does what the other WR’s on the team don’t and that is get open quickly. The Professor and the Freakn’ Peurto Rican will be overjoyed. Watch C3s Tripp Morgan interview him:
• Cam Robinson- This big man would be an absolute dream come true if he is still there at 40. He would start Day 1 at RT and would eventually move to LT. I would have no problem if we traded up for him
• Obi Melifonwu:- This is a guy that the Panthers have shown a ton of interest in and would be a great pick to solidify the secondary for years to come. Tall, rangy and fast Safety that will look good playing alongside Coleman
• Jordan Willis- The Panthers need a DE to groom and take over for the aging Peppers and Johnson. He has visited the Panthers and if he is there at 64, he will be the pick
• Pat Elflein- It is time to find Ryan Kalil’s long term replacement and this OSU standout would provide immediate interior line depth and could take over for Kalil in the coming years
