Graham Gano Optimistic After Foot Surgery
/Panthers kicker Graham Gano is optimistic after a season that ended both with injury and insult. After a season that began with a missed field goal that could have beaten the Denver Broncos and ended with a foot injury common for ballerinas, Gano had orthopedic surgery to repair a fracture in his plant foot. Gano played the final quarter of the season with the injury, finishing the 27th ranked kicker.

Today, Gano tweeted that he was recovering from a successful surgery. After missing 50% of kicks from 50 yds out, three extra points, and finishing with a disappointing 79.7% FGM, this is only the first foot forward in securing his position as the Panthers kicker.
