3 blockbuster trade scenarios that the Carolina Panthers should be in on
There is still a lot of time before the NFL season starts, five months, in fact. So today, I am going to explore some different trades that the franchise should look at.
Scenario #1. Devin White for a 2023 second-round pick and a fifth-round pick.
Linebacker is a HUGE position of need for the Carolina Panthers. Yet, surprisingly, the team has made no significant move to address the position besides the addition of Kamu Grugier-Hill. White, who requested a trade a few days ago, would fill the need quite nicely.
Scenario #2. Budda Baker for a 2023 third-round pick and a 2024 fourth-round pick.
I am unsure about this one, but I decided to include it. There is no downplaying it; safety is not a massive need for the team with the Newley added Von Bell and Eric Rowe, not to mention Jeremy Chinn (who will probably be in the box) and Xavier Woods. It is no secret that Scott Fitterer is “in on every deal,” so this is still a possibility.
Scenario #3. Deandre Hopkins for a 2023 third-round pick, Yetur Gross-Matos, and a 2025 sixth-round pick.
The Panthers have made many moves to bolster their offense this offseason, but the help of a five-time pro bowler to help future quarterback Bryce Young is always appreciated. Hopkins has been in trade rumors all offseason, and the Panthers have been swirling around as a destination for Hopkins. He would instantly make a significant impact on this roster.
Well, that is all I have for you today, Panthers fans. I hope you enjoyed this read. For now, Connor Jordan is out… and as always, Keep Pounding!
